USCIS Updates Expedited Processing Policy

On March 21, 2024, USCIS updated its expedited processing policy for cases involving government interests, requests due to emergencies or urgent humanitarian situations, and for I-131 advance parole travel applications. The policy update also provides information on how to make an expedite request, and explains how USCIS processes the requests.

Note that this expedited processing function is separate, and distinct from USCIS’ premium processing service (I-907 applications), which provides for the expedited processing of certain petitions or applications based on the payment of an additional filing fee.
