H-1B Advanced Degree Exemption (FY 2008) Update

As of April 24, 2007, USCIS has approved and/or issued receipt notices for 18,747 applications for the H-1B visa U.S. master’s degree exemption. The Service Centers still have yet to issue receipt notices for 400 additional master’s degree cap petitions. Once USCIS receipts these cases there will be approximately 1,000 numbers remaining for the master’s degree cap exemption.
