U.S. CBP: TN VISA APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE ADJUDICATED BY CBP POSTS AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS

After being advised by AILA that U.S. CBP officers at the Shannon and Bermuda international airports had been reluctant to adjudicate TN visa applications for Canadian citizens, the U.S. CBP pre-clearance office in Dublin sought guidance on the issue from U.S. CBP headquarters. The Dublin office subsequently informed AILA that that CBP pre-clearance posts at international airports should process TN visa applications. AILA Rome Dist. Ch. / CBP - Dublin Meeting, Nov. 10, 2011, AILA InfoNet Doc. No. 11121461 (Posted 12/14/11).
