Passport Rule Update

The Department of Homeland Security has issued a reminder that beginning January 31, 2008, adult travelers will be required to present proof of citizenship and proof of identity when entering the U.S. at land and sea ports-of-entry. This change is part of DHS' process to prepare travelers and ease the transition to the future requirements of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI). A passport is not yet required for Canadian citizens for admission to the U.S. by land or sea. Read Notice.
