DOS REVISES DS-160 FORM

The U.S. Department of State has updated its DS-160 form, which is used to file for a non-immigrant visa stamp. These changes will impact citizens of Mexico and any non-Canadian citizen family members, who must first file for a TN / TD visa stamp before being admitted to the U.S.

The new form emphasizes that the applicant must electronically sign and submit the DS-160 form (i.e. actually "click" the submit button on the government's website). The updated form also includes additional questions regarding potential grounds of inadmissibility
