H-1B Visa Numbers Closing in on Cap

As of May 23, 2006, there is a total of 45,150 H-1B visa petitions either pending or approved by USCIS out of the 58,200 H-1B visa numbers available for the fiscal year. Individuals interested in pursuing H-1B status should act quickly to avoid being shut by this year’s cap. Time is of the essence!

As of May 23, 2006, there is a total of 5,555 H-1B advance degree exemption petitions pending or approved by USCIS out of the 20,000 H-1B visa numbers available for this exemption.
