DOS ANNOUNCES NEW VISA STAMP FILING FEE (INCLUDES TN & TD VISAS)
The U.S. Department of State (DOS) has announced that it will increase the government filing fees for visa stamps on June 4, 2010. With respect to TN visas, as citizens of Canada are exempt from the visa stamp requirement under the TN visa classification, this rule should only affect citizens of Mexico filing for TN visa stamps at the U.S. Consulate/Embassy and non-Canadian citizen spouses/children of TN visa workers.
According to the U.S. Department of State, the new visa application fee for TN and TD visas will be $140.
