Question: What do the letters TN stand for?

Answer: TN generally stands for “Trade NAFTA” as provided for in the legacy INS’ NAFTA Handbook. INS Manuals 46. It has also been referred to as “Treaty National” in the Foreign Affairs Manual. See 9 FAM § 41.59.
