DOS CONSIDERS CHANGE TO B-1 VISA DUE TO ABUSE

Following a recent court complaint alleging visa abuse, and in response to a letter from U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, the U.S. Department of State has acknowledged that it is reviewing the B-1 visa classification and may implement changes to its B-1 in lieu of H-1B provisions.
