USCIS Publishes Guide For New Keeping Families Together Program

USCIS has published a Filing Guide for its new Keeping Families Together program. This process will allow certain noncitizen spouses and stepchildren of U.S. citizens to apply for parole in place starting on Aug. 19, 2024 by using the new electronic Form I-131F. Individuals who are granted parole in place through this process and who meet additional requirements may then be able to apply for Lawful Permanent Residence status (a green card) based on their relationship to their U.S. citizen spouse or stepparent.
